Our projects strive to deliver practical, people-first improvements in the public right-of-way, selected based on community need, accessibility, and feasibility.
In car-centric communities, transit struggles not because of lack of demand, but because the infrastructure needed to walk, wait, and access it safely is missing. By investing in dignified, street-level infrastructure for people, we help create more equitable access and stronger transit where trips begin.
Project sponsorship helps bring practical, people-first improvements to places where comfort and access are often overlooked.
We work with community groups, agencies, and local organizations to deliver people-first improvements. Partnerships help projects last.

We welcome opinion pieces that explore walkability, transit, public space, and community access, particularly from lived or local perspectives.
Install benches at transit stops to improve comfort and accessibility for riders, with locations informed by community need and equity considerations.
Launch place-based wayfinding pilots near transit stops to help riders orient themselves, understand their surroundings, and identify nearby destinations within walking distance.
Publish educational features that highlight people-first access, comfort, and placemaking across transit systems, including station-area environments and emerging transit initiatives.
Build active partnerships with local organizations, municipalities, and agencies to support coordination, stewardship, and long-term care of street-level improvements. These partnerships are essential to sustaining small-scale interventions and ensuring projects align with local priorities, operational realities, and long-term ownership.
Develop and implement a clear, repeatable framework to guide site selection, project delivery, and documentation across all PedestrianROW projects. This model will allow successful interventions to be adapted to new contexts, ensuring the work remains practical, replicable, and responsive to different community conditions.
